Pricing questions, answered honestly.

How does the menu-size pricing work?
You pay by how many distinct menu items live on your MenuBase menu. 30 menus is RM28 a month. 60 menus is RM54. 90 menus is RM78. 120 menus is RM99. The tier scales with what you actually serve - a kopitiam with 25 items pays RM28, a casual cafe with 55 items also pays RM28 (up to 30 menus), a full-service restaurant with 85 items pays RM78.
What does the annual subscription save?
Annual subscription is the equivalent of ten months at the monthly rate. So you get two months free every year. RM280 a year instead of RM336 on the 30-menu tier, RM540 a year instead of RM648 on 60 menus, and so on.
What if we have more than 120 menus?
For menus larger than 120 items, multi-outlet chains or cloud kitchens running multiple virtual brands, WhatsApp the team. We quote an enterprise rate in writing within 24 hours, typically with volume discounting and a locked annual price.
What if we have multiple outlets with the same menu?
A multi-outlet venue running one shared menu pays one menu-size subscription, not one per outlet. So a 4-outlet cafe chain serving a 55-item menu pays RM54 a month total, not RM216. (Outlets are not the unit of pricing; menu items are.)
Is there a setup fee?
No. Setup is included. We come in with your existing menu, build the digital version, generate the QR codes for every table or counter, and walk the team through the system in one shift. By end of service on day one you are live.
Are there per-language or per-revision fees?
No. Where multilingual support is available, it is included in the base rate. Menu revisions are unlimited - no cap on edits per month. The hidden costs that bite Malaysian operators on competing systems (per-language fees, per-revision overage, per-payment-method fees, sponsored placement up-charges) are deliberately not on our invoice.
What about hardware?
QR codes for the tables come included (printed sticker or table tent options). The customer side requires nothing - no app to download, no hardware to install. The waiter tablet is optional; some venues use it for parallel order receiving, others stick with their existing POS workflow. We discuss the hardware decision in the setup conversation.
What if we want to cancel?
Monthly subscription cancels monthly, no lock-in. Annual subscription cancels at renewal. Your menu, customer data and historical sales export to CSV in standard formats within 24 hours of request. We do not believe in trapping operators.
Do we need to replace our POS?
No. MenuBase sits on top of any POS. Billing, accounting, payment processing and sales reports stay where they are. The waiter rings orders into the existing system the same way.
How do we get started?
WhatsApp the team with your venue type, outlet count, and a photo of your menu. We will count the menu items, recommend the right tier, and confirm the price in writing within 24 hours. Same-day setup once you confirm.
